BYRON VIEW FARM
We're glad you found us. Byron View Farm is our beautiful hundred-year-old property situated on the highest hilltop of the Byron Shire. It boasts 360-degree uninterrupted ocean to mountain views and the most surreal sunsets. Secluded in the stillness of the hinterland, yet just a 10-minute drive to the soul and beaches of Byron Bay. Retreat in our designer white cottage or glamp under the moon shine. Elopements, weddings, hens parties and proposals are our speciality.
Why Byron View Farm?
If you’ve been, you know why…and honestly, the venue just fit us to a tee. We had been looking at venues all day around Byron and Byron View Farm was an added bonus we had not even considered. As soon as we arrived we knew it was fate. Those hills seriously sing!
We found Byron View Farm online and didn’t actually see the venue in person until the week of the wedding. The views are incredible and there are so many options for the ceremony, all of which are so stunning. We absolutely loved the style of the cottage and that you could have the reception on the verandah. The whole place is really special and feels so intimate and secluded. It also really appealed to us that you could do everything at the one venue and wouldn’t need to travel anywhere else on the day.
We are both drawn to the ocean. Josh was searching Byron Bay Weddings and Byron View Farm popped up. It was our first and only venue we looked at. We both knew straight away we would get married there; a perfect mix between native trees and the sea. Everything about Byron View Farm felt homely and right.
Cohen was born in Byron Bay and I was born in Lismore so we’ve spent our entire lives in this area. We are both very outdoorsy people so we needed somewhere you felt like you could see for days and touch the sky. Cohen grew up on a farm and I’m a sunrise and sunset type of girl, so the quaint little white farmhouse perched high on a hill in the Byron hinterland that is touched by the sun from dawn until dusk was never not an option! It had our names all over it. And Bobby (the Byron View Farm resident Border Collie), well he just sealed the deal.
Despite growing up in the city, spending time in the Australian bush is a very meaningful thing for me and I see great beauty in nature. I wanted to share that experience with our friends and family on our wedding day. We visited the venue and both instantly knew it was the place. It has such a calming, laid back feeling, and those views are one in a million!
